Ian, winner of the 2007 Raffle - He was very happy to know he won.
Gaspar a retired letter artist for DC, Marvel, and Mad Magazine who recieved the Shazam Awared for Best Letterer in 1971 & 1973, has lettered some amazing comics. He is considered by many letterers and other comics creators to be the finest cover letterer ever. When they were falling behind, Gaspar would sometimes be given only 1st pages to letter because he was strong at display lettering and a good story title letterer and they would give the rest of comic to another letterer to complete . This is similiar to what somteimes goes on today, one artist does the cover and another artist doing the inside work. All done to catch the attention of the reader's eyes. Some of his work has been seen in some of : 1989 Arkham Asylum: A Serious House on Serious Earth, 1960 Series DC Justice League of America, 1938 Action Comics, 1963 The Amazing Spider-man, 1962 Aquaman, 1940 Batman, and over 100 others.

Brad Meltzer author of serveral best selling books including, Dead Even, The First Counsel, The Tenth Justice, The Millionaires, The Zero Game and of course the Book of Fate, he is also an amazing comic book writer known for his work on Identity Crisis and the JLA and now with his last issue #12 coming, we will miss his work, but wish him the best for his next novel and hope that when he is done, he will consider going back to writing comics.
